At Doggy Oasis, I take pride in providing a relaxing and trusted 'spa' experience for both dogs and their owners. I never overbook or double book, ensuring a personalized, one-on-one session where your dog receives undivided attention. I don't rush dogs ever - That's how people and dogs get injured.
I take the time to listen to what dogs are trying to say so they feel heard, and communicate with them. I play music for them, sing to them, talk to them, and I narrate most thing I'm doing so they learn what is going on. Leveraging my experience in dog massage and acupressure points, I gently incorporate these techniques during the groom to help calm or keep your dog relaxed.
Your dog will always be groomed by me, the owner, never passed around to multiple groomers - This consistency builds trust, so that your dog knows exactly what to expect. Routine decreases anxiety and is comforting for dogs. When a dog has a familiar and safe relationship with their dog groomer it makes dog grooming a positive experience for life.

Coat Type & Service Needed
At Doggy Oasis, I offer a range of specialized dog grooming services designed to meet the unique needs of every dog. My pricing is based on dog size (in pounds) and coat type, ensuring fair and tailored care.
Not sure of your dog's coat type - No problem, I've got you covered! I've explained them below to help you determine what type of Dog Grooming you'll need for your fur-baby.
Coat types explained:
- Smooth coated dogs: Breeds like Beagles, Pugs, and Pit Bulls. Sleek and smooth fur that lies flat on their body. You will be booking a "Bath & Brush' - This service includes shampoo & conditioner, high velocity drying, deshedding, brushing, nail trim, & ear cleaning.
- Drop coat/silky coat: Breeds like Shih Tzus, Yorkshire Terriers, Havanese. Long, flowing hair that requires regular brushing to prevent mats. These types of coats will hardly shed a hair. You will be booking a 'Bath & Tidy' or a 'Full Groom' for your pups dog grooming.
- Double coated: Breeds like Pomeranian, Husky, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds. Two layers of fur – a dense undercoat and a protective topcoat – designed for insulation. Welcome to Shed-City - Population.. your dog! lol You will need to book a 'Deshed & Full Groom' for your pups dog grooming.
- Thick/Poodle type coats: Breeds like Poodles, Bichon Frise, Lagotto Romagnolo, Portuguese Water Dogs. Curly, dense hair that continually grows and requires regular brushing & clipping. These types of coats will not shed at all. You will be booking a 'Bath & Tidy' or 'Full Groom' for your pups dog grooming.

Full groom
Do it all! Includes a carefully chosen shampoo & conditioner, thorough drying with a high velocity dryer, brushing, a full body haircut tailored to your preference, a nail trim, and ear cleaning.
Bath and tidy
This service includes all the pampering of a Full Groom, but without a full body haircut. Providing essential trimming: paw pads, tops of paws, tidying around the eyes and mouth, front of ears, and the sanitary area for a neat and refreshed look. Perfect for in between Full Grooms to keep your dog comfortable!
Deshed & Full Groom
Specifically for double-coated breeds - this service includes 4 Rounds of de-shedding & trimming where requested. Service includes a dry blow-out (Round 1), double shampoo, in-bath brushing for deshedding (Round 2), conditioning, thorough drying with high velocity dryer (Round 3), and post-dry brushing and deshedding (Round 4). Typically includes trimming of paw pads, 'grinch feet,' sanitary area, and an outline trim for a sculpted finish. Ear cleaning and a nail trim are included.

For our snowy winters, its very important to keep the paw pads as hair free as possible - This avoids snow and ice build up in a very sensitive area - keeping them comfortable. 🎉Fun Fact - The pink skin between a dogs paw pads is packed with nerve endings - It is an extremely sensitive area of skin for you furry family member.

To provide accurate pricing, schedule you correctly, & allow enough time to groom your dog please provide the following information:
1. Your dogs name & age.
2. Your dog's breed & their size in pounds.
3. Have they been professionally groomed before? If so, when were they were last groomed?
4. For Safety Reasons - Any current or past health or behavioral concerns I should be aware of.
Please Keep in Mind - You will require proof (a photo is acceptable) of updated vaccines, specifically rabies, to complete any grooming service. Most vets will email you a copy of any records with just a quick phone call.
For dogs that are unable to be vaccinated - senior dogs, dogs with active or chronic health conditions, adverse reactions to vaccination - Please have your vet send you an email stating that they advised not to vaccinate your pup, and show me that email.
